The Royal Hashemite Court (RHC), historically referred to as “Al Maqar” (the headquarters), functions as the link between His Majesty the King, the state’s institutions and citizens. It is the official entity that oversees the preparation and implementation of the King’s activities locally and abroad. It is also responsible for the execution of and follow-up on the various political, economic and developmental Royal initiatives.


The RHC also plays a major social role through the various services it offers, foremost of which is covering expenses of medical treatment for citizens who do not have health insurance.

The Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development was founded by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah in 2013. With the belief in the power of education and that every child in Jordan and the Arab world deserves a quality education.

The Queen Rania Foundation is an umbrella organization, overseeing education-related programs and activities for the Queen Rania Teach Academy, Edraak, the Royal Health Awareness Society, The Children's Museum Jordan, The Association of Queen Rania Awards for Excellence in Education, the Jordan River Foundation, Madrasati, and the Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans.

Born out of the great hearts and spirit of His Majesty the Late King Hussein and HRH Prince Hassan in 1970, the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) aims to be the knowledge leader for science and technology locally and regionally. The RSS uses excellent scientific and engineering research to power economic development and social progress.

HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan serves as the President of the Royal Scientific Society and is greatly recognised for her work in promoting various scientific endeavours on a local and international level.

The Royal Scientific Society is the largest applied research institution, consultancy, and technical support service provider in Jordan and is a regional leader in the fields of science and technology.

The Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j), founded in 2000, is a membership based ICT and IT Enabled Services (ITES) industry advocacy, support and networking association.

int@j serves as the collective voice of the industry, advocating on behalf of our stakeholders and seeks to maximize the contribution of the ICT sector towards the national economy. We aim to provide our members with the tools required to ensure continued growth and expansion.

Taawon (Welfare Association) is a non-profit, civic organization launched in Geneva in the year 1983, upon the initiative of a group of Palestinian and Arab economists and intellectuals.


Taawon has become one of the largest organizations operating in Palestine and the diaspora camps in Lebanon, whereby it touches the lives of more than one million Palestinians on an annual basis, with half of these beneficiaries being women.


Since its establishment, Taawon has invested funds reaching nearly US $900 million, dedicated to development and relief programs.

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP Jordan)

The Jordanian Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP Jordan), guided by our honorary president, His Royal Highness Price Hassan bin Talal, has been dedicated to providing primary healthcare services to patients in refugee camps in Jordan since 1990.

To date, MAP Jordan has treated over 2 million patients, with 55,000 people receiving free treatment annually.

Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) was established in 1972 as the government arm to support the private sector in Jordan to become competitive in the global markets.

JEDCO designs and executes a variety of development programs that target different sectors in the manufacturing, services and agro-industry domains. these programs are tailored to adapt Jordanian products to International needs by providing technical and financial support to start-ups and SMEs for their sustainability and growth. 

JEDCO is a government independent corporation led by a board of directors representing the public and private sectors equally and chaired by the Minister of industry, trade and supply.

Shams Ma'an Power Generation PSC is a Jordanian energy company focused on harnessing solar power to generate electricity. Established as a joint venture between the Jordanian government, the private sector, and international partners, Shams Ma'an aims to contribute to Jordan's renewable energy goals and reduce the country's dependence on fossil fuels.

The company operates one of the largest solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants in the Middle East, located in Ma'an Governorate. By leveraging the region's abundant sunlight, Shams Ma'an plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable energy solutions and supporting Jordan's energy security and environmental objectives.
